youth camp. 26th dec.

it rocked.

the theme was Expect The Unexpected. lol, if that means waking up at 4am to be dragged to the beach blindfolded, they really got us on that one.

the first day was almost just games, which meant rough and violence, especially when you have this bunch of kiasu people. oh btw did i forgot to mention, we were grouped in 4 groups, kia, pia(mi dear group), choing and hiong. wt hokkien group names?

too bad timothy and jeremy lim didn't go.. they seriously missed the fun. daniel, janessa and her friend (zhi yu, isit? sorry cant really remember...) came so more people, the better:)

the 1st day started out with games after games with more games to follow, in other words, fun and draining, i must say michelle and kenneth did a great job, planning stacks of activities for us people;) dog and bone, one violent game and yet another, ...

balloon smashing. super vioent.

so basically we had to protect this person from others who were so desperate to burst the balloon that were tied to his/her ankle(xiaoping did a realllyyy good job when it came to protecting himself from those pesky feetXD) and at the same time burst other groups' balloons. mi sister for one(desperate attacker), ended up dancing with me after i 'forcefully' grabbed her to prevent her from bursting anything. we looked like a jolly ol' couple doing some square dance. not.

after the indoor games there were the outdoor ones....

two words. wet and muddy. but it was fun.

after we came back and bathed(man i felt good after bathing) and there was this couple who had this aussie accent when they spoke.. they were praying and speaking in tongues and all that, and some were touched, some were slain, and some others as well. during the ministry you could feel God's presence moving around us, touching souls. it was really powerful and a memorial experience.

after that we went back, drained and tired, but (still can say) happy:)

well that's it for the first day!
