well dont wish me a happy birthday
and dont tell me at all
cause' it's only when everything's great
that it all goes horribly wrong
well i know you're trying to be a friend
and brighten up my day
but please just dont overdo it
or say, "happy birthday"

woke up 5 in the morning
and stumbled out of bed
had a rollercoaster ride of dreams
and got up almost half dead
got ready for school
and rushed off on que
with homework almost undone
with stomach empty
and hair messy
what a way to start a day like this one

reached the classroom just in time
before the bell struck late
teacher came in and collected work
which was undone so she said,
"well today's your day
and you'll celebrate
in the classroom detention
writing down these lists
to not do this
slackish thing again, hope it's enjoyment."

dentention stinked and my mood's
going deep down the drain
i know i should be happier but today
just contradicts my brain
i feel real sad now
i feel depressed now
as i walked to my locker
saw a note right there
scrawled out in black
saying, "hey cheer up, meet us at Ryna's"

so went there
still pretty down
then they came and killed my frown
all my dear friends
so caring, love them,
what would i do without them?

dont care what that loser maam says
cause when you guys are there
you never fail to make me smile
or brighten up my day

yeah. i was just thinking about that day when all my friends just popped into my mind, so i got inspired to write that. haha:D
