i kind of wish that there'll be an extended period off school. i honestly need the time.
i just failed my heymaths test. 12 out of 30. i dont know if i'm supposed to do the actual thing on fullscap. it'll just add on to my workload.
leah told me that in the Philippines, the kids are seriously enjoying their youth because once school is out it's play time man. so unlike here in Singapore. system is kiasu, schools are kiasu, teachers are kiasu, parents are kiasu. only make students do more work. in the end the students also become kiasu. not good.
i hope i wont forget anything i'm supposed to know for youth anni.
i have seriously forgotten all my math fomulas.

one day, MOE decides to raise awareness on the amount of stress schools are imparting upon their students.
MOE: The students of today's schools are getting more and more stressed each day. as a result during the exams they cant cope because they're too tired and suffer from tiredness and mental blocks. therefore, i shall issue to all principals to lower the work loads in their schools.
Principals: Less homework?
MOE: Less homework.
Principals: Less extra classes?
MOE: Less extra classes.
Principals: Less projects?
MOE: DEFINATELY less projects.
and so, with the principals all clear on the issue, the new standards are put into usage.
a few weeks later...
PrincipalOfHighEndSchool(POHES): last time, people would work so hard just to enter our school. now, it's just whoever does the best. my reputation and income could be getting lower. i know, i shall push the students just a little bit so that they'll work just a little bit harder than the other schools and so the results on the average will be just a little bit higher than the other schools.
and so, the POHES did that and in no time, the school became just a little bit better than other other schools.
meanwhile, this went noticed by another Principal of another high end school.
PrincipalOfAnotherHighEndSchool(POAHES): it looks like POHES has pushed the students just a little bit harder than us so that their students will become just a little bit better than our students. i know, i'll push our students just a little bit more harder so that we can keep up.
and so, the list went on, which each Principal pushing their students a little bit more harder each time to catch up because they were all too kiasu(scared to lose), kiabomin(scared no reputation) and kiabolui(scared no money).
